What you need to know

Critical dates you will want to know
for the SWACU Digital Banking upgrade
and Credit Card conversion.  

New Credit Cards will be mailed:

• Thursday, April 3rd – Wednesday, April 9th: SWACU will mail your new credit card(s). Expect to receive it within 7–10 business days.

Last day to schedule a bill payment:

• Sunday, April 20th: This is the last day to schedule any bill payments or perform external transfers before the upgrade. Be sure to schedule everything in advance to ensure your bills are paid on time. Previously scheduled recurring payments will process as usual. However, no new payments can be added between Monday, April 21^st, and Sunday, April 27^th. Payments scheduled in Bill Pay on or before April 20th will still be processed during the week of April 21^st – 27^th. 

Bill Pay will not be available:

• Monday, April 21st - 27th: Access to external transfers and Bill Pay will be temporarily unavailable during this time. Please do not attempt to add or schedule new payments during this period.

Receive New Credit Cards:

•  Wednesday, April 23rd: If you have not received your new card(s), contact us at 800-262-5325 ext. 177. 

Online Banking will not be available:

• Friday, April 25^th, 7:00 PM CST : SWACU starts the conversion process. Online Banking, including the SWACU Mobile app, will go offline and then on Saturday, April 26th switch to a read-only mode. You will still be able to view transactions (such as checks posted, debit and ACH transactions), but you cannot conduct any new Online Banking transactions.

Mobile Deposit will not be available:

• Friday, April 25^th at 7:00 PM CST - Sunday, April 27^th: Mobile deposit will be unavailable. Plan ahead and complete any necessary deposits before this period.

Credit Cards will go inactive:

• Monday, April 28^th:  Your old card(s) will be automatically deactivated on this date. You can activate your new card(s) and begin using it on or after April 28th. If you plan to travel during the activation period, please remember to take your new card(s) with you as your old card(s) will be deactivated on Monday, April 28, 2025.
