Questions about your credit card rewards? Contact member support 800-262-5325
Will my new card have the same features as my old card?
YES! Nothing will change with your new card.
Will I still be able to access transaction and payment history online for my old card?
Your history will still be accessible to you just as it was before.
Will my recurring credit card payment transfer to the new card?
There are several ways that you may have set up your credit card payment. If you use bill pay at another bank or credit union to send us your payment, you will need to change the billing address to:
Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union
PO Box 35708
Dallas TX 75235
If you have a direct deposit or other transfer set up at the credit union to pay your credit card, those payments will transfer to your new card.
If you used the current credit card portal located in home banking, those automatic payments will NOT transfer and will need to be set up in our new Online Banking system on or after Monday, April 28th, or you can reach out to us to help you set up a new payment.
What should I do with my old card?
You may continue to use your old card until April 28th. After that, destroy the old card and dispose of it.
Will this be reported as a new trade line on my credit report?
Yes, the new card will appear as a new trade line on your credit report. The old card trade line will be closed and showed as transferred.
When will my credit report reflect that the old card is paid off and closed and the new card is open?
The old card should appear paid off and transferred in May. If not, please contact us at 800-262-5325.
I have a dispute filed on my old credit card; how will that impact my new card?
This will not affect any outstanding disputes.
Is my credit limit changing?
No
